Diwali (Deepavali) is called the festival of lights celebrated all over India and most parts of the world, signifying the victory of good over evil as per Indian mythology. FICQ has been celebrating the Diwali Festival in Brisbane since 2010, promoting harmony and multiculturalism. More than 15,000 people all over Brisbane and other parts of Queensland attend the event annually, signifying the success of the festival over the years.
It is our immense pleasure to invite you all to our iconic event Diwali Indian Festival of Lights on 28th Oct 2022 at King George Square, CBD. We will be delighted for your attendance at the Diwali Celebration – a significant multicultural calendar event. The function will start with traditional Indian reception between 11:00 am to 11:00 pm AEST.
