Judgement for murder trial of Manmeet Alisher

Judgement was made today on August 10, 2018 in the murder trial of Manmeet Alisher who was killed by Anthony Mark Edward O’Donohue on October 28, 2016 by throwing a home-made petrol bomb on the victim and lighting it. Judge Jean Dalton ordered O’Donohue be kept and treated in a high security section of The Park mental health facility in Brisbane.The Judge ruled that O’Donohue was of unsound mind during the attack and is unfit to stand trial. Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland has sympathy for the family of Manmeet who are here to listen to the judgement. Federation and Indian community will support the family in this difficult time of grief.
